how do you reserve hotels at Disneyworld hotels using points

Hey there, Kathleen! It's my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney—we're so glad you're here. Chatting about all things Disney Vacation Club is one of my favorite pastimes, and I'll be happy to provide all the details about using your Vacation Points to stay at Disney Collection resorts around the world. Anything for a fellow DVC Member!

One of the aspects of Disney Vacation Club that was most appealing when we were researching the ins and outs of Membership was the ability to stay in all sorts of accommodations beyond our Home Resort. Although Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows has my heart, we have used our points on many occasions to stay at other Disney destinations.

Kathleen, this benefit also includes many resorts that are not part of Disney Vacation Club, including hotels at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and the Disney Parks in Tokyo, Paris, and Hong Kong. You can book a stay at any of these magical locations by exchanging your Vacation Points for Reservation Points - or even a journey to the big blue world on Disney Cruise Line

You can find the most updated information regarding eligible resorts here, as well as Points Charts that will help you calculate what you'll need to make your dream vacation a reality. To book a reservation, call Member Services - the Cast Members will be able to check resort availability and exchange your points. Keep in mind that the transaction does carry a one-time, non-refundable fee (currently $95, subject to change) and that once your points are exchanged, they cannot be pulled back to use for a DVC reservation.

I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes and that you can use those points for a practically perfect vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and please come see us again anytime if we can help with additional questions.

    Stay Magical!
