Do you have to have the speciality drink with your quick service meal or can you have it on it's own at another time of the day?

    Hey Sian,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. It sounds like you’re going to be using one of Disney’s yummy Dining Plans during your stay. The Dining Plans are a delicious way for you to enjoy prepaid meals during your visit when you purchase a vacation package. This year, guests have two options: the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. Both plans will allow guests to have at least one quick service meal per day together with one alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage per day. Unfortunately, you will not have the option to save your quick service beverage for another time - you will need to use the full credit and have the beverage with your meal. If you skip it, it will not be available for you to consume later. Be sure to have that beverage with your meal!

Sian, my best advice for you as you plan to use your Dining Plan is to be sure to think through what you’ll want to use your credits on. My family planned out everything down to our snacks. Because of the Quick-Service Dining Plan this year I was finally able to try the amazing Cream Cheese Pretzel at The Lunching Pad in Magic Kingdom (this meeting was long overdue). A few other great ways to use your snack credits that I can think of are the Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston’s Tavern, also in Magic Kingdom, or the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich at Terra Treats in Animal Kingdom. One last favorite: the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie at The Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios is simple perfection.  The best part about these snacks is that they're all shareable, so you can stretch your snack credits!

Sian, I hope this information is helpful. Have the best time snacking through Disney World! If you have any additional questions about your trip, please come back and see us here at planDisney. Until then, TTFN… ta-ta for now!
