Hiya, Farron! Welcome to planDisney, where we happily answer all of your
Disney vacation planning questions.
To use a driver's license as proof of Florida residency, your driver's license would need to be a current, valid Florida driver's license (must have a Florida address). Because you usually cannot hold 2 valid licenses from 2 separate states, your Florida license is likely no longer valid and you will not be able to use it to prove residency as you no longer are considered a resident of Florida. You can check the
Proof of Residency page of the website for more details. As such, you would not be able to purchase an
Annual Pass that is exclusively available for Florida Residents. However, you can certainly become an
Annual Passholder by purchasing an IncrediPass (subject to availability), which currently does not require you to be a Florida resident!
Being a New Jersey resident myself, the IncrediPass is the Annual Pass that I hold to the
Walt Disney World Resort. The best part about this pass is that currently, there are no blockout dates. That means as long as there is
Theme Park Reservation availability, I can make a
Theme Park Reservation for any day of the year with this pass. I activated it this past August and have never looked back! It's like getting a front-row seat to all the
new and exciting developments at the resort, plus frequent access to the
classic thrills.
Farron, if you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out to me.
Wishing you many magical vacations in the future,
Matt
