Hi there, Raisa. Welcome to planDisney!
In short, yes, you can buy a 1-day
theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option and then buy a 2-day ticket with just one park per day for the other days you are spending in the parks. However, just do the math to ensure that this will actually be cheaper! In fact, for the dates I just randomly selected on the calendar on the website, it would actually be slightly cheaper for me to purchase a 3-day theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Option than it would be to do what you're suggesting! In general, the more days you add to your theme park ticket, the cheaper it becomes per day. So just explore the options on the site to make sure you're getting the best deal and value!
I see that you're coming in August. As a teacher, the summer is usually when I'm at the
Walt Disney World Resort and while it's definitely hot, there are some strategies I always use to beat the heat. Firstly, I rope-drop, which means to be there right when the parks open. I get a bunch of my favorite
attractions done in the morning before most people are even awake! And then around lunchtime, I'm either eating in the air conditioning or taking a break at my
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. Or I'm eating at a restaurant
in my hotel! Then, I'll swim in the pool, rest a bit, and get back to it in the evenings.
Raisa, I hope you enjoy your summer visit to the resort. If you have any other questions,
you can always reach out directly to me.
Listen with your heart, you will understand,
Matt
