About Me
I live in a small town in England, not far away from the beautiful Lake District, and work as a Client Manager at an accountancy firm. I first visited the Walt Disney World Resort as a young adult, back in 2000, after having always wanted to visit as a child and let's just say the rest is history! Almost 20 trips later, I still love nothing more than to be researching and planning for our next trip, which is never far away.
I am so excited to be a part of planDisney and to be able to help people to plan their magical holidays to the Walt Disney World Resort - it really is a dream come true!
About My Family
My husband Phil & I have been together for almost 20 years and are parents to two amazing children - our 21-year old son and 8-year old daughter who have both grown up, from a very young age, having been on regular holidays to the Walt Disney World Resort. Phil and I both work and have a fairly hectic day-to-day life so, we really do treasure being able to spend quality time together, as a family, at the most magical place on earth.
Being international visitors, we tend to visit the Walt Disney World Resort for at least two weeks at a time and generally book our trips a year in advance. We plan our visits in great detail in order to get the most out of every moment, ensuring that all of our Advance Dining Reservations and Lightning Lane selections are made at the earliest possible opportunity. When at the Theme Parks, I love to watch the shows, parades and fireworks whilst the rest of my family like to enjoy all of the thrill rides, again and again!
About My Disney Experience
I first visited the Walt Disney World Resort at the age of 20 after spending many hours as a child wishing that one day I would be able to see all of the magic firsthand. Needless to say, after that initial trip I was hooked and once I became a mum, I couldn't wait to book our first family holiday to the most magical place on earth. Since then, we have racked up almost another 20 trips.
Over the years, I have visited with both immediate and extended family as well as groups of friends. I have experience of travelling with children ageing from just 2-years old all the way up to young adults. Past trips have included stays at value, moderate and deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotels, dining at many of the on-site restaurants and using the Disney Dining Plan. I have also experienced a whole host of special events held at the Theme Parks - Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my absolute favourite!
In addition to our many trips to the Walt Disney World Resort, my family and I have set sail on four Disney Cruise Line voyages as well as having visited Disneyland Paris countless times.
For me, planning our upcoming trips is almost as much fun as the holidays themselves. I cannot wait to share my knowledge and help you to create your very own holiday of a lifetime!
