Welcome to planDisney, Karyn! It sounds like your son has excellent taste, because the
Incredicoaster is a favorite in my family, too (and Violet Parr definitely has a special place in our house as well). I’m so glad to hear your visit lines up perfectly with the attraction’s reopening. That timing feels a little like Edna Mode herself stepped in and said, “Luck? No, darling. Destiny.”
I’m happy to put your son’s mind at ease. At this time,
Disneyland Resort has not shared any announcements about a soundtrack change for Incredicoaster. The attraction is still scheduled to reopen on February 6, and it is expected to feature the same high-energy musical score composed by Michael Giacchino for Incredibles 2. That pulse-pounding soundtrack is a huge part of what makes the ride feel like a full-on superhero chase, so it’s great news for fans who know every beat by heart. For the most up-to-date information, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the official Disneyland social media channels, since any major changes would be shared there first.
While your son is zooming through Pixar Pier, be sure to spend a little extra time soaking in all the Incredibles theming nearby. The area of Pixar Pier near the Incredicoaster is packed with details that feel straight out of Municiberg, from the Incredibles-inspired architecture to the playful nods woven throughout. And just steps from the Incredicoaster exit, you may spot some familiar heroes. Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone, and even Edna Mode herself are known to greet Guests nearby. A quick Q-Tip: the “Characters” tab in the
Disneyland app is your best friend for tracking where and when these super-powered meet-and-greets are happening.
Since you’ll be visiting in February, you’ll also be able to enjoy the
Lunar New Year celebration at
Disney California Adventure Park. The park comes alive with colorful décor, festive music, and culturally inspired performances, creating a vibrant backdrop for your visit. The limited-time food and beverage offerings inspired by Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean cuisines are always a highlight. Picking up a
Sip and Savor Pass makes it easy to sample several dishes, and finding a spot near Paradise Bay is a wonderful way to recharge between heroic adventures.
Karyn, I hope your visit is filled with thrills, laughter, and just the right amount of superhero speed. If any other questions come up as you plan, please don’t hesitate to stop by again. We’re always delighted to help you plan your Disneyland adventures.
Have an incredible visit!
David
