Hi 👋 Do kids that are 9 and under have different access throughout the park? Or is it a hight regulation for rides? Basically I want to know if I can go on rides with my kids?

Hello there, friend! Thanks for stopping by with your great question. The Happiest Place on Earth is for Guests of all ages so let's get into the specifics of your question.

As you may have seen, there is a slight cost difference between theme park tickets for Guests aged 10+ and Guests between the ages of 3-9. Both tickets have the same access to entertainment, rides, and more, so you can ride attractions with your kids. In fact, Disneyland Resort Rules require all Guests under the age of 7 to be accompanied by a Guest aged 14 years or older on all attractions. While I'm not entirely sure why there is a slight price difference, I imagine that you are likely right and it has to do with younger Guests and height requirements on certain rides - such as the Incredicoaster and Indiana Jones Adventure.

If you are curious about which rides at the Disneyland Resort have a height requirement, you can use the Disneyland Mobile App. From the app home screen, click the pin drop icon on the bottom toolbar, which is second from the left. This will open the Disneyland Resort map. From the map screen, click "Filter" in the top left and it will give you options to filter by thrill factor, height, age, and more! It might be a good idea to check this before you head to the parks so you can best place the rides your family can ride together. I find most of the rides in Fantasyland in Disneyland Park and rides on Pixar Pier (with the primary exception of the Incredicoaster) in Disney California Adventure Park to be family-friendly and good for most Guests.

I hope this answers your question. If you need any further help or need a guide to the best snacks at the resort, please visit again. I'd be happy to help!

    Happy planning,
    Melissa
