Hear ye, hear ye! planDisney welcomes Lady Amy to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Your upcoming visit with your son will be here soon, so let's talk about ways to make this trip sparkle with pixie dust.
The Cinderella Castle Suite is somewhat shrouded in mystery, Amy, but I'll do my best to fill you in. This gorgeous space near the top of the castle in Magic Kingdom Park is designed to look like a royal bedchamber fit for a princess.
You can search online for
videos and photos, but you'll see that most guests who experience these elusive accommodations probably did so as the result of winning a sweepstakes or contest. In other words, a Fairy Godmother would need to bestow a stay upon you; alas, the suite cannot be booked or purchased.
I know that's not the news you were hoping for, but I have a couple of suggestions to make this visit more regal. It sounds like you enjoyed dining at
Cinderella's Royal Table, so you might try a different meal service. My husband and I love
breakfast at this location, and a bonus tip is to let the Cast Members know at check-in that you'd like a window table. The view of Fantasyland is phenomenal!
I also recommend a Fireworks Dessert Party to make you feel like a queen for a day. You can choose from several options, but my friends and I had a blast at the
Seat & Sweets party. We got to enjoy some delicious desserts and then watch Happily Ever After while seated in the Tomorrowland Terrace.
Finally, you can check availability for the Royal Guest Rooms at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. These rooms now feature plussed-up decor such as decadent draperies and twinkling fireflies over the beds. The
Princess and the Frog theming will make you feel just like Tiana. Ask for a corner room for a bit more light!
Amy, I'm sorry I don't have better news about the Cinderella Castle Suite; I'm right there dreaming with you! I hope I've given you some alternatives to think about, and please stop by
planDisney anytime. Your pumpkin coach will be here, my lady!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
