Hiya Apryl,
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm always excited to see you pop by to visit us. Disney dining is my passion, so I am happy to "dig a little deeper" into your dining question.
As a mom, I know how important it is to ensure your child has a meal they can enjoy. I spoke to a Cast Member because I wasn't aware of a way to pick more than one allergy through the
My Disney Experience Mobile app. They advised that you order in person with a Cast Member instead of using
Mobile Food Orders. This will ensure that a chef or Cast Member can help prepare a meal tailored for your son that is friendly to both allergens and helps put your mind at ease. Now Apryl, I know that mobile food ordering can be an easy way to ensure you spend less time in line and more time enjoying your Theme Park day, but it is not the only way. I've found that sometimes the wait for my mobile food order can be as long as just ordering at the counter. One way to ensure you are spending less time in line is to eat during off-peak times (i.e., have an earlier or later lunch rather than eating during the traditional lunch times of 11:30-1). This also has the added benefit of shorter standby lines for the attractions since you can take advantage of the lunchtime lull. My family and I prefer starting our day with a late breakfast at a table service location such as
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera so that by the time we are hungry, it is later in the afternoon, and the lines for quick service are significantly shorter.
Apryl, I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but I hope it was helpful. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
