Timmy from CT Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My party has a couple of different food allergy requirements. When dining at a family-style resturant are we able to order two different kinds of skillets? or is it truly one for the table like the menu says?

It’s supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to see you here, Timmy!

Welcome to planDisney; I’m glad you stopped by with your question for us.

I hope you’re as excited as I am about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! There’s nothing quite like walking onto Main Street, U.S.A., at Magic Kingdom Park and hearing the cheerful music playing in the background as you see bright Mickey-shaped balloons bobbing in the sky. You’re going to have such a magical time!

Timmy, I completely understand your concern about your party’s food allergies, and I want you to know that at Walt Disney World Resort, they take excellent care of Guests with special dietary needs and requests. If you made your advance dining reservation at the family-style restaurant, you should have been given the option to add a note about any Food Allergies or Special Requests. If you already filled that part out, three cheers for you!

When a friend of mine with special dietary requests went with me to Chef Mickey’s during their family-style dining experience, upon checking in, we let the Cast Member at the host stand know about his allergy requests. Once we were seated, the chef came out to speak to my friend, who informed the chef of his allergies, and he was given a separate skillet from mine. I am always so impressed with how this is handled at Walt Disney World Resort.

If your party has 4 or more allergy-friendly requests or a medically-restrictive diet, please contact special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. They request you don’t contact them any sooner than 14 days before your visit, and the Special Diets team will be happy to get in touch with you to assist you further.

Additionally, if you ever feel like a quick bite to eat and want to place a Mobile Food & Beverage Order through your My Disney Experience Mobile App, there is a feature that allows you to check the Allergy-Friendly part of the menu that your party can browse through. This service is offered throughout several locations, and I hope it helps!

Here's wishing your vacation is practically perfect in every way, Timmy! Have an enchanting visit.
