My son is bigger than your average 2 year old, therefore may be questioned of his age when entering the parks. Do we need to show proof of age for entrance or is me telling them he is only 2 sufficient?

    Welcome to planDisney, Ashley!

I still remember the first time I brought my kiddos to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I was a bit nervous because I was used to visiting without kids. Adults-only trips were the way my wife and I liked to roll. However, I must admit, taking kids to Walt Disney World is uniquely special. There's something about seeing the magic through their eyes that is hard to explain. Don't get me wrong, you can't accomplish as much, there are meltdowns, and it becomes less about you and more about your child. However, the memories are extra sweet and those magical moments stay with you forever.

Mouseketeers under the age of 3 possess the honored status of "Guest of Mickey" and therefore do not need a ticket to enter Walt Disney World theme parks. Disney does not require parents to show proof of age for their little ones. This is all done on an honor-based system. Therefore, unless your 2-year-old is 6 foot with a full beard, you'll be fine.
