Hi there, Taryn, and welcome to planDisney!
Like my girl
Hannah Montana says, “Everybody makes mistakes/ everybody has those days.” Have no fear, Taryn! There are ways for you to switch which theme park that you visit while on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
As long as your theme park ticket is unused, you can modify your tickets by logging into your
My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Find your “My Plans” section, select the ticket you’d like to modify, and click on “Modify Reservation.” From there, modify your theme park or even the date that you’d like to visit.
Be prepared: The theme park that you meant to select could be unavailable for your ticket type. If this happens, keep trying until the day of your big adventure. Last-minute cancellations could open up spots. Also, when you make the theme park switcheroo, you may have to pay the difference between the cost of your new and old selected parks and dates. Making this change on your own is easy, but you can also call
Guest Relations for more assistance with your existing tickets.
AN EXTRA GEM: Perhaps you can have the “best of both worlds” if your ticket has the
Park Hopper Option, then you can visit the theme park that you currently have selected and park hop to the desired second theme park after 2 p.m. That’s just an idea in case you find that the other theme park is no longer available as the initial reservation.
Taryn, you are going to have a rockin’ good time at the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other questions as you rev up for your visit, give us a holler here at planDisney.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
