Welcome to planDisney, Lauren! Hooray, it sounds like a visit to Disneyland Resort is on the horizon for you and a friend! How magical!
The
Southern California Resident Ticket Offer is such a great one for our friends visiting from the neighboring region. In fact, the 2025 offer is valid for dates between January 1 and May 15, 2025 (subject to availability and restrictions) so it is a great time to be planning for your visit! You're correct that these special offer tickets are only for Guests living in eligible ZIP codes 90000 to 93599 and proof of residency using a valid, government-issued photo ID will be required both at the time of purchase and at the time the ticket is used for admission to the theme park. So long as both you and your friend can provide this, then you should be good to go! Alternatively, if your friend does not qualify for this particular special offer, they could consider purchasing a
standard ticket either online or through the
Disneyland mobile app.
Once your tickets are purchased, you can ensure that they're both
linked to your MyDisney account or within the mobile app so that you can reserve
Virtual Queues or
Lightning Lane selections, if you're opting to add this to your visit! Generally, if you purchase both tickets under a single account, those tickets along with the theme park reservations for each Guest will automatically be loaded into your account under the "
My Plans" page or the "Future Plans" section of the mobile app. But, I also have some recommendations for
how to link tickets and park reservations for your travel party, if they prove helpful to you, too!
In the meantime, I wish you and your friend a spectacular visit to 'The Happiest Place on Earth!' If we can help with anything else that comes up along the way, please feel welcome to come back and send us another question here at
planDisney. We'd love to see you again real soon.
Magically yours,
Tishra
