Can small 4 pound dogs go to Disneyland

Hi Helen! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

The only dogs you'll see in the parks are Mickey's pal Pluto and Guests' trained service dogs. I had a little four-pound pup too, and I know they can tuck right in your bag, making them very portable, but your dear little pet needs to stay home while you're visiting the parks. Pets are not permitted.

There is cute dog merchandise you can probably find while shopping in the parks, however. That might be the perfect thing to pick up and bring back as a souvenir for your little furry friend. I purchased a cute coat for my little girl once upon a time, while enjoying the parks. Not only did she look adorable sporting her Disney threads, but it always reminded me of the magic of that day spent with a dear friend. A pet costume, water bowl, leash, or just a small stuffed animal might be just the thing, depending on what you see in stock.

Are you planning on enjoying the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival? It will be underway when you arrive, and the Foodie Guide has arrived to help you plan your must-eat and must-drink list before you ever waltz through the gates. I'm studying it, so I'm ready to go!

    Have a magical day.
