Welcome back to planDisney, Raea!
It sounds like you want to enter the Grid, take a ride through the mines, save the galaxy, and fly on a banshee during your next Walt Disney World vacation. Not only that, but you also want to take the fastest lane possible to experience these thrilling attractions. This is my kind of plan! Let’s take a look into how you can make the most of your theme park days.
With the new
Lightning Lane Single Pass system, you can only book up to two Single Passes a day. While your idea to enter as many top-tier rides’ Lightning Lanes as you can isn’t possible in one day, you can definitely choose two attractions that aren’t in the same theme park if you have a ticket with a Park Hopper Option. Even better news? You can book the two Lightning Lane Single Passes (and a Multi Pass, if you’d like) in the same transaction in the My Disney Experience App.
So, if you want to start your day with a Lightning Lane for Magic Kingdom Park’s
TRON Lightcycle / Run, you can still soar over to the Lightning Lane for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park’s
Avatar Flight of Passage. Keep in mind that most of the attractions that have Single Passes also have standby queues, so you could technically still ride all of them in one day, you just won’t be Lightning McQueen fast going through them. TRON Lightcycle / Run and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, at the moment, have no standby queues. You either need Lightning Lane access or a
Virtual Queue boarding group to ride those attractions.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or at another eligible hotel, you can make your experience selections and purchases as early as 7 days before your vacation. The bonus perk is that if you’re staying on property, starting on that first eligible day, you can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Passes and Single Passes for every day of your vacation (up to 14 days).
Raea, if you have any other questions about your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, give us a holler here at planDisney.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
