Hi there, Angela, and welcome to planDisney!
We have very similar tastes because your idea to visit
Story Book Dining at Artist Point was definitely on my itinerary when my family recently stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I am more than happy to share with you what we did to get to see Snow White, The Queen, Dopey, and Grumpy.
Here are a few ways to get from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge:
-Take a complimentary Disney bus ride to Magic Kingdom Park, then take a scenic (and very relaxing) water taxi ride (not ferry boat) via the Resort Launches to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This is what my family did and the journey took us about 45 minutes.
-Take a Disney bus to
Disney Springs or to another theme park and transfer to another bus heading to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
-Get there via a personal vehicle and park at the Resort hotel. If you’re not renting a vehicle, you could use a ride share service or pay for a ride in a Minnie Van. You can book the Minnie Van Service via the Lyft app.
After our late dinner, we were stuffed and wanted to get back to the hotel as quickly as possible. The fastest way for us to get from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge was to book a ride through a third-party ride share service. We walked through the beautiful, rustic lobby and waited for our ride at the Resort hotel’s entrance. The driver arrived within minutes.
You are going to fall in love with this character dining experience at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The character interactions are some of the best I’ve ever had and the food presentation and taste are fantastic (no poisoned apples here). If you have any other questions about your visit,
stop by planDisney again. We are more than happy to help.
Magic always,
LeAndra
