Can I show my homeowners insurance as proof of residency?

Hi there, Scotts! And welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with this great question! As a fellow Floridian, I know how exciting it is to take advantage of those special offers just for Florida residents!

When it comes to proving Florida residency for tickets or passes, homeowners insurance documents won’t quite do the trick. But as Timon and Pumbaa would say; or sing: Hakuna Matata; no worries! There are plenty of other ways to show that you’re a Sunshine State local!

The easiest option is a valid Florida driver’s license or state-issued ID with a Florida address. If you don’t have one, you can use an official document like a mortgage statement, utility bill, or car registration, as long as it’s dated within the past two months. Just be sure to bring a matching photo ID for verification.

If you purchased tickets online and selected the Florida Resident option, you can even verify your residency online before you arrive! This saves you time at the ticket windows, so you can head straight into the magic.

I hope this helps as you plan for your visit! If you have any other questions, I’m always happy to help. Wishing you a practically perfect day and a visit filled with pixie dust!

    See ya real soon!
