Hey there, hi there, ho there! We’re so happy you popped in to bring us your question!
Teresa, as I’m sure you can imagine, a day at Walt Disney World is always an adventure, and every great adventurer needs to pack wisely! While Disney does have some rules about what you can and can't bring into the parks, the good news is that you can absolutely bring snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and even small coolers to keep everyone fueled and happy between all the magical moments.
If you’re thinking about bringing a full-blown picnic feast, just keep in mind that loose ice, large coolers (over 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high), and glass containers (except baby food jars) aren’t allowed. But reusable ice packs are your best friend if you want to keep things chilled! And if caffeine is your lifeline (I see you, fellow coffee lover), feel free to bring in your own thermos of cafecito or a cold brew to keep that energy up so you can make it from rope drop to fireworks.
What’s not on the guest list? Alcohol, large wagons, selfie sticks, and anything that could make Security give you “the look.” If you’re ever unsure about an item, you can check the
official Walt Disney World Property Rules online before heading out.
One more pro tip: pack light if you can! While you can absolutely bring all your park-day essentials, you’ll thank yourself later if you’re not lugging around an overstuffed backpack while racing to your next
Lightning Lane. And remember,
lockers are available if you need a break from carrying it all.
Hope this helps you plan the perfect park bag! And if you have any additional questions or need more pixie-dusted planning tips, please don’t hesitate to come to see us!
Wishing you a magical day filled with fun, Mickey-shaped snacks, and just the right amount of caffeine.
