Shouldn’t I gotten a notification that my magic key was up for renewal ?

Welcome to planDisney, Gabriele, and thank you for this great question. I'm so glad to hear you have a Magic Key, and I hope you've enjoyed using it at Disneyland Resort. The perks and discounts are downright magical!

Guests can renew their Magic Key 30 days before its expiration date. I spoke to a helpful Cast Member named Peyton, who said that emails are occasionally sent as a courtesy to remind guests about their renewal window, but those emails are not guaranteed.

You can find your expiration date in your Disneyland App under the Tickets and Passes Tile, so my tip is to set a reminder on your phone's calendar. Please keep in mind that late renewals aren't allowed, so set up whatever alarm works for you. Sticky notes are always a good standby!

My pal Al recently answered a question about renewals and payment schedules that you might find helpful. He's an excellent resource for all your Magic Key questions!

Gabriele, I hope I've helped you navigate Magic Key renewals, and I'm sprinkling pixie dust all around so you can continue to stay magical! Feel free to stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
