Hi there, Natalie! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
In my opinion, one of the best
benefits of staying right in the middle of the magic at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel is extra time in the theme parks. Disney Resorts Collection Guests can take advantage of
early theme park entry every day at all four
Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Disney Resorts Collection Guests can enter the parks 30 minutes ahead of the regular park opening time, and you'd be surprised just how much you can accomplish with that head start!
At some of the theme parks, Guests need to scan in to show their resort reservation before entering the park gates. At other parks, all Guests will be able to enter the gates early, but the general public will be held at the front of the park while resort hotel Guests will be able to scan in at another checkpoint inside the parks to gain early access to the
attractions.
Magic Kingdom Park operates in this manner.
Since all Guests can access Main Street, U.S.A. early in the mornings, most of the shops tend to open as soon as Guests begin entering the park. So if you'd like to get some early morning shopping done at the
Emporium or grab a Starbucks coffee at the
Main Street Bakery, you'll be able to do so during early theme park entry time. Once you're ready to ride, head toward the hub in front of Cinderella Castle where you'll see some Cast Members checking resort hotel Guests in so that they can head to the attractions that are open during early entry.
Natalie, if you're planning to do a lot of shopping early in the day and you don't want to carry your packages through the park,
locker rentals are available near the park entrance. I hope that this information is helpful as you get ready for your trip. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
