Hi there, Angela. Thanks for reaching back out to us at planDisney.
Dining at the
Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite topics. On each visit, I try at least one new restaurant because there are just
so many wonderful options and I want to try them all! When I visited a few weeks ago, I checked off dinner at
Tiffins Restaurant at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, lunch at
Steakhouse 71 at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, and breakfast at
Ale & Compass Restaurant at
Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Each one was delicious and had excellent service. I especially enjoyed the value that came with breakfast at Ale & Compass Restaurant!
While there isn't currently a service to help you make difficult
advanced dining reservations, the best way to snag those hard-to-get reservations is to ensure you are ready to book by 6 a.m. EST 60 days before the date you'd like to dine. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you have the advantage of being able to book reservations for all of your vacation (up to 10 days) 60 days before your arrival date. If this is the case, I highly recommend trying to book those difficult reservations toward the end of your vacation as fewer people will have access to those days as early as you do!
If you aren't successful in getting those reservations at first, continue to check back as your vacation draws nearer. When Guests change their plans, their reservations are usually made available for other Guests. Also, when you are at the resort, you can use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to see if there are
Walk-Up Lists you can join. Simply open the app, click the 3 horizontal lines (≡) in the bottom right-hand corner, select "Tip Board,"and then click "Dining." If you see a Walk-Up List with a reasonable wait time, click "Join List."
Angela, I hope you have a wonderful visit to the resort full of memorable experiences and delicious culinary adventures!
Please reach out directly to me if you have any other questions!
Always save room for Mickey-shaped food,
Matt
