    In Sept 2013 Disney tested a bus from AK to DTD from 3pm onwards. Do you know if this was ever made permanent? We are travelling in Feb '15 and I'm trying to decide if it's worth making DTD dining reservations on the evening of a day in AK. Thanks

    Hi Kathryn! Thanks for the great question! Lucky you for being a part of such a handy test! I was there just over a week ago and there weren't direct buses from the parks to Downtown Disney. That being said, we never know when things will change, so be sure to check back here and the Disney Parks Blog often to see if there are changes. Also, be sure to check at your resort when you arrive.

    If there's not a direct route, it's still easy to get to Downtown Disney from the Animal Kingdom, so don't forego your dining plans! You can take a bus to any resort, and from there, another bus to Downtown Disney. I recommend going to Saratoga Springs Resort. From there, you can walk or boat to Downtown Disney, which is super convenient. It should take about 45 minutes in total. From Downtown Disney, you can take a bus directly back to your Disney resort.
