Hi Justine!
Welcome back to planDisney! Building some “downtime” into your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is always a good idea to balance the busy park days with opportunities to relax and unwind. While we don’t yet have information on the reopening of
Senes - A Disney Spa at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, there is another spa that you are welcome to make reservations at during your visit.
Over at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you’ll find
The Grand Floridian Spa which offers massages, facials, and other treatments. From Saratoga Springs, you can take a bus to
Magic Kingdom Park and then either walk, catch a boat, or take the
Walt Disney World Monorail over to the Grand Floridian. Prefer to drive? You can also enjoy
complimentary parking at the resort during your spa appointment. If you decide to visit The Grand Floridian Spa, I suggest extending your visit with a meal at
Grand Floridian Cafe. I love their breakfast menu in particular and highly recommend the Avocado Toast with a mimosa!
While the spa at Saratoga Springs may not be reopened yet for your trip, many amenities are still available when you’re looking for a break from the theme parks. When we stayed here, our family enjoyed playing at the
High Rock Spring Pool and taking leisurely boat rides to
Disney Springs for shopping and dining. My favorite spot to grab dinner at Disney Springs is
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ followed by an ice cream from
Salt & Straw. You'll also find bike rentals, jogging trails, tennis courts, and a basketball court at Saratoga Springs. Don't forget to check the resort lobby for the
latest information on activities like campfires, Movies Under the Stars, poolside games, and arts and crafts!
Justine, I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming vacation! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
Cheers,
Kristi
