Hiya, Susan! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your great question!
In my opinion, it's a great idea to get acquainted with the parks prior to your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort! My husband and I love creating mental routes for our upcoming adventures, making sure we know where our must-do attractions are located and where to find all the snacks. By dreaming up a thoughtful plan, you're sure to not miss a minute of the magic! While paper maps aren't available to be sent to your home, I'm happy to let you know that these items are readily available online:
- Magic Kingdom Park – view the Guide Map (which you can print at home!), dining experiences, attractions, and the nighttime spectacular Happily Ever After!
- EPCOT – view the Guide Map, dining experiences, attractions, and the new nighttime spectacular “Luminous The Symphony of Us” which will debut on Dec. 5, 2023!
- Disney's Hollywood Studios – view the Guide Map, dining experiences, attractions, and the nighttime spectacular Fantasmic!
- Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park – view the Guide Map, dining experiences, and attractions!
I would also recommend downloading and exploring the
My Disney Experience app! You'll be able to view interactive park maps, check wait times for attractions, and more. When you're in the parks, you can also access virtual queues and mobile order food. I love taking a peek at all of the excitement happening at Walt Disney World Resort, even from my couch at home! You may also want to check out some other special experiences available, such as the
Enchanting Extras Collection. While these experiences aren't necessary to have a magical trip, this is a way to add a little extra pixie dust to your vacation. Also, tune into the
planDisney Podcast, where planDisney panelists (who are Guests, just like you!) share their best tips and personal advice for Disney destinations. And of course, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. This is my favorite way to stay up-to-date on everything I can expect on my upcoming vacation!
You've got a friend in me,
