Hi Kellie!
It is great to see you back aboard planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with another question.
As you know,
Disney Cruise Line allows Guests (age 21 and up) to bring up to two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750ml) or six beers (no larger than 12oz) on board in carry-on luggage at the beginning of the voyage and each port-of-call. Now, I know that some Guests report being able to bring items such as White Claw in their carry-on luggage and others have not had such luck, so I reached out to our friends at Disney Cruise Line about your question and was provided with the following: "Currently, any alcoholic beverages that are not beer, wine or champagne will be considered 'other liquors and spirits' and are therefore prohibited." I know that isn't a direct answer to your question, but it sounds like White Claw might be under the "not beer" category.
When boarding the ship, your carry-on luggage will go through security and be subject to search. Any
prohibited items will result in boarding delays and the item will be confiscated with no compensation offered. Keep that in mind when deciding what to pack.
You will find a variety of beer alternative items offered onboard the ship. On my recent cruise, I saw Truly for sale at the pool bars (selections are subject to change). And of course, there are lots of specialty cocktails and beverages offered (for an extra charge) aboard the ship. Don't forget about the
Beverage Tasting seminars, too! Some of my favorite moments aboard a Disney Cruise have been learning some interesting facts and fun recipes from the talented mixologists onboard.
I hope this information helps as you pack your bags for your amazing voyage to Hawai'i, Kellie. Stop by any time with other questions!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
