How does scheduling multi passes lightning lanes and single pass lightning lanes work when park hoping?

    Hi Kimberly!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney! First, let’s chat about Lightning Lane Multi Pass with a park hopper ticket.

When booking your Lightning Lane pre-selections for Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you need to book all 3 attractions in the same park. You can choose if you want to book them for the very first park you plan to visit or for a park you’ll be heading to later in the day depending on your priorities.

After you scan into your first Lightning Lane of the day using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll be able to book any available Lightning Lane in any park as long as you have a valid park hopper linked to your My Disney Experience account

At that point, you’ll also be able to modify any existing Lightning Lanes to any other Lightning Lane in any park pending availability. So, if you don’t think you’ll get to all 3 Lightning Lanes you have booked before heading to the next park, you can switch them over to a different attraction.

Now that we’ve gone over that, let’s talk about Lightning Lane Single Passes with a park hopper.

You can book up to two Lightning Lane Single Passes per day (pending availability). And since you have a park hopper, those two Single Passes do not need to be in the same park. Just make sure you choose return times for those attractions that work well with your plans as you're going through the booking process.

Remember, you’ll be able to purchase and book your Lightning Lane services for your entire trip beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date if you’re staying at a Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your park ticket if it’s a date-based ticket.

I hope that helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to visit us again!
