We are scheduled for a stay at All Star Music 10/11/26–10/15/26 What is the best way to extend our trip

    Hi Jodi!

Welcome back to planDisney!  I'm so glad you stopped by to see us again as you prepare for a visit to Walt Disney World Resort this fall!

Disney's All-Star Resorts are among my favorite places to stay on property.  Not only are they big on theming, but they are also big on savings while still allowing you to enjoy all the great benefits that come with staying at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection.  One of my favorite spots at Disney's All-Star Music Resort is the Calypso Pool.  I love the bright colors and swimming alongside the Three Caballeros - it's hard not to smile here!

Jodi, I understand wanting to extend your trip. . .it's a thought I frequently have as well!  Fortunately, there are a few options I can share to help with your plans.  First, if you booked your vacation directly through Walt Disney World, you should see an option to change your reservation in "My Plans" on the website.  From here, you can edit your dates to check availability for your extended stay at All-Star Music.  If you don't see options for your new dates at your current resort, you can also search for other resort hotels.  You can also always call a Cast Member at Tickets and Hotel Reservations for assistance if you'd prefer.  If you made your original reservation through a third-party website or travel agent, you would want to contact them directly to see what options to modify are available to you.

Another choice to consider is booking a split stay.  With this option, you would make a totally separate reservation for your new dates.  Split stays are one of my favorite ways to enjoy multiple resorts during a single trip, and Disney makes it easy to manage.  On the day you change resorts, you can drop your bags at Bell Services and let them know you are changing hotels.  While you're enjoying your vacation, they'll take care of moving your bags from one resort hotel to the next!

I hope this information has been helpful, Jodi, and that you enjoy a bibbid-bobbidi-BOOtiful vacation this fall!  As you continue planning, don't forget to check out all the details on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival - two of my favorite fall events at Walt Disney World.  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Cheers!
    Kristi
