Could I get a schedule of activities and times for the pool/ amenities sent to me for my family’s stay at the Grand Californian for 7/31/26 to 8/2/26? My son is autistic and I try my best to schedule out the kids activities ahead of time.

Greetings, Jenny, and welcome to planDisney! Your big trip to the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is almost here. There's something so special about the moment of stepping into that majestic lobby. You have so much to look forward to, including the activities exclusive to Disneyland Resort hotel Guests.

I appreciate that you're looking to schedule activities ahead of time. The Hours & Events Calendar lists atmosphere entertainment at the Disneyland Resort hotels. It looks like the details for the dates of your visit should be updated soon. I'm happy to highlight some favorites in the meantime!

There are two sessions to make friendship bracelets. You can stop by the 4 p.m. session on Saturday at the Disneyland Hotel – it's open to Guests of any Disneyland Resort hotel. The guided hotel tours are a lot of fun, too – the Disneyland Hotel tour is typically offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 1 p.m. If you're interested in participating in these activities, sign up at the Front Desk.

As part of Kids Rule Summer, there will be a pool party at the Grand Californian Hotel at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday! You can expect trivia, appearances by Pixar pals, music, and more. While that is the day you check out, know that your hotel room key can be used to access the pool area until the end of the day. Just leave your luggage with the Bell Desk and keep a bag with your bathing suit or a change of clothes if you'd like to stop by the pool before you head out.

Speaking of pools, the Grand Californian Hotel has a fantastic waterslide and multiple pools. I felt so relaxed here, surrounded by trees and Craftsman-style architecture. Check out the whirlpool spa near the Mariposa pool – it's an oasis for sure! The pool area is typically open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the water slide is usually open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Before we say goodbye, I want to mention that Storytellers Cafe is my favorite Character Dining spot at the Resort. My kids have very selective flavor palates, and they always leave happy and full. You can revisit the buffet multiple times during your meal, and Disney pals will stop by to say hello. It's a lot of fun! Make a reservation if that's something you're interested in.

Jenny, I hope your family has a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort. Please reach out if you think of any other questions – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
