It says that I do not need to have a park reservation for my purchased plan but other people I've talked to have said that I do need to have park reservations, what do I do? Should I reserve park reservations and if so, how?

Hi there, Shaunna! Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for visiting with your question. I completely understand and I'm here to help!

Indeed, it is true that Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort will need to have both a valid ticket and park reservation for each day of their visit to enter the theme parks. However, it is very possible that you have already secured this if you purchased a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package or through the standard ticketing process, so you might not need to make a separate set of reservations. But, let's go over how to check this online so you can be sure.

First, I suggest you log in to your MyDisney account and select "My Plans" to view any currently held reservations. Typically, this will display your theme park reservations, dining reservations, hotel reservations, and any other plans made under your account. If you see your visit dates and the theme park reservation listed there, you should be good to go! And, if you ever need to change or cancel your plans, you can utilize the "Manage Reservation" button to see the confirmation number and the option to modify your reservation.

Now, Shaunna, if you don't see anything listed in your My Plans section, my recommendation is to ensure that your tickets or your Vacation Package confirmation is officially linked to your MyDisney account. These two processes differ slightly, so let's talk through them both. If your tickets were purchased separately from any hotel reservation, you can use the Link Tickets page to enter the eTicket ID number you may have received in your email confirmation upon purchase. Alternatively, if you did purchase a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, you should link your hotel reservation number to your MyDisney account, which will then allow you to proceed with making theme park reservations online. Once your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package is successfully linked, you can navigate to the "My Hotel Reservations" page which will give you the option to select your visit dates and the theme park you wish to enjoy!

I know this can seem like a lot of details to process so if you run into any technical issues with making your park reservations or linking your tickets, please feel welcome to contact a Cast Member by phone using the Tickets line. I've always received wonderful support from them! And, if we can share any other useful information with you along the way, I'd love to invite you to reach out to planDisney again soon. We're always happy to connect. I wish you and your loved ones a magical adventure to 'The Happiest Place on Earth!'

    Magically yours,
