Welcome to planDisney, Helen! How wonderful to have you here. We'll be happy to help with your question today.
You are correct that all Guests who wish to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks must have both a
valid theme park ticket and a park reservation for each day of their visit. However, most Guests who purchase their standard tickets through the official Disneyland website will have made park reservations at the same time as their ticket purchase. This is especially true for
1-Day tickets, which are priced by date (and Tier) as you noted!
However, let's go over how to verify this in your MyDisney account so you can be sure everything is ready to go for your upcoming visit! In this case, my suggestion is to log in to your MyDisney account and select the "
My Plans" section where you should see any currently held reservations, including park reservations, hotel reservations, or dining reservations. If you see your visit date and the theme park you plan to visit listed there, you'll be ready to enjoy all the magic of Disneyland Resort! You can even click on it and see the confirmation number for your park reservation, or if your plans change and you need to modify or cancel your reservation you'll see the option to "Modify Reservation" there.
In the event that you don't find your park reservation, Helen, I suggest that you use this page to
link your tickets to your MyDisney account, using the eTicket ID number you received in the email confirmation for your ticket purchase. Once this is successfully linked, the reservation should show up in your account as described above. If you're still having trouble locating this or you need to speak with a Cast Member for more technical assistance, I suggest calling the
Tickets line. I hope this has been a useful set of recommendations! If we can share anything else in the meantime, please don't hesitate to visit us again, here at
planDisney. I wish you a very
magical holiday celebration at Disneyland Resort this year!
Warm hugs,
Tishra
