    Hello! Just saw a YouTube video of some refurbishment that’s happening at the DisneyLand Hotel Pool. Are the pools closed? We’re staying at the Grand next week and heard you’re sending DL hotel guests there to us that pool?

    Hey there, Jill! Welcome back to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by with another great question for us.

    I'm excited to hear you are just days away from your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort and a stay at the fabulous Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! I just stayed at the Grand Californian last week and can never get enough of the fantastic lobby and all the craftsman details. Currently, there are some construction and refurbishments going on at the Disneyland Hotel as the construction wraps up for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. The two monorail waterslides are currently closed at the Disneyland Hotel pool, but the pool is still open for Guests. I did not see an influx of Guests from Disneyland Hotel in the pool area.

    Be sure to take advantage of the entry into Disney California Adventure Park from your resort hotel to check out San Fransokyo Square! I love this reimagined area. It really feels like you've stumbled into this neighborhood full of delicious eateries. Of course, there's also the chance to meet Hiro and his health companion, Baymax!
