Hello there, Fernando! Welcome to planDisney. It’s said that crafting your own lightsaber is the final test of a Jedi, and I’m honored to offer some guidance on your journey to becoming one with the Force.
When completing your reservation for
Savi’s Workshop, you’ll enter the name of the builder in response to the prompt, “Who will be in your party?” Each reservation includes the builder plus two guests as observers. There is no need to list the guests on the reservation. The builder should be at least 5 years old, and at least one member of your party must be 14 years of age or older (a wise precaution, especially in a galaxy full of surprises).
An incoming transmission confirms some exciting news from Batuu: beginning May 4th, a brand-new hilt theme known as "
Reclaimed and Reforged" will be available at Savi’s Workshop. Scavenged parts collected by pirates from across the Outer Rim are now ready to be repurposed by the next generation of Force-sensitive builders. Of course, if your connection to the Force draws you in a different direction, you can still select from the four classic hilt themes available year-round, each with its own lore and legacy.
If you’re open to other paths, I highly recommend a stop at
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. This legendary Ithorian trader curates rare artifacts that span the galaxy’s history, some so unusual, even a protocol droid might raise an eyebrow. Dok’s rotating collection of legacy lightsabers includes hilts once wielded by Jedi Masters, Sith Lords, and everything in between.
And here’s a little Q-Tip for you: take a moment to glance up toward the shop’s upper alcove. Rumor has it you’ll find a well-placed tribute to the galaxy’s most famous Gungan: one that tends to spark joy and debate.
I hope this transmission helps you feel fully prepared for your visit to Black Spire Outpost, Fernando! Should you seek more galactic guidance, feel free to send a holo-message my way, or consult any of my fellow Jedi at planDisney.
May the Force be with you… always.
David
