Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, as I am a Disney Vacation Club Member and Saratoga Springs is one of my Home Resorts. In fact, we love staying at this Resort when we visit
Walt Disney World. So saddle up, and let’s get an answer to your question!
Lorna, if you’re looking for studio villas with enclosed balconies at Saratoga Springs you’ll need to request one above the first floor. The ones on the first floor have an open patio with a pair of chairs and a table. The ones on higher floors all have an enclosed balcony. Hope that clears things up for you!
Lorna, here’s a bonus tip! The resort view studios at Saratoga Springs are located at the Grandstand, the Carousel, and the Paddock sections of the Resort. I recommend requesting a room at the Paddock section as it has a great pool with one of my favorite slides in all of Walt Disney World, it’s in the middle of the
internal bus loop for buses that go to the theme parks, and it’s fairly close to the Carriage House, the main lobby area of the Resort.
