Disney Springs? I'd suggest a lunch or dinner reservation at
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' during your stay if you can squeeze it into your plans. The Thigh High Chicken Biscuits keep me coming back time and time again!
Alison, when it's time to depart Walt Disney World Resort and travel to Port Canaveral, there are several options to consider. One suggestion is to search online for shuttle companies, car services, or rideshares that offer transportation to Port Canaveral. You might find more options available if you plan to head back to Orlando International Airport on the day of your cruise, as many cruisers fly into and out of that airport, and shuttle service may be available through your cruise line or additional third-party companies.
If you'd like to stay in the driver's seat when it comes to your cruise transportation (literally!), you could also check if there is availability for a one-way car rental with a return to Port Canaveral. The
Car Care Center, located on Walt Disney World property, offers rental car options through several preferred partners. You can even call to check for shuttle availability from Saratoga Springs to the Car Care Center. Before booking, I'd suggest confirming shuttle service is available between the rental car center in Port Canaveral and your specific cruise line terminal. If you choose to rent a car during your visit, keep in mind that
parking is complimentary at your resort hotel and at the theme parks when you stay at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection - just one of the many
