Sailing on the Disney Treasure August 29 - September 5, 2026. This is my first cruise ever. Will need to login to work at least once a day to take care of any ASAP issues. What wifi package should I purchase and how much are they? Thanks!

    Ahoy, Michele!

Welcome aboard planDisney! A first cruise on the Disney Treasure is going to be such a magical memory for you and your crew! Even with a little bit of work sprinkled into your vacation, seven nights aboard this beautiful ship should leave plenty of time for adventure, relaxation, and maybe even discovering a few treasures of your own along the way.

There are currently two internet options to choose from, and the decision really comes down to how much video chatting you'll need to do for work, if any. The Internet Package (currently $27 for 24 hours) is the more basic option and is perfect if all you need is basic web browsing, checking emails, handling a few work items, and perhaps sharing some vacation photos with family and friends back home. The Internet + Streaming Package (currently $36 for 24 hours) offers additional capabilities and may be the better choice if your daily check-ins include video conferencing, streaming, or other tasks that require a stronger connection.

Once you're at the cruise terminal and connected to the ship's complimentary Wi-Fi, you'll want to open the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to purchase the internet package that best fits your needs. The complimentary Wi-Fi allows Guests to use the Navigator app throughout the voyage and typically supports iMessage and WhatsApp text messages. In my experience, sending photos through those messaging services can be a bit hit-or-miss (usually miss) without an internet package, so that's something to keep in mind.

If you'll be logging in every day during your sailing, you may also want to compare the cost of purchasing internet for the entire voyage rather than buying it one day at a time. Disney typically offers a voyage-length option that can save around 20% compared to purchasing multiple 24-hour packages, although the exact savings can vary a bit.

I hope this helps as you chart your course toward an unforgettable first voyage aboard the Disney Treasure! With the right internet package squared away, you'll be free to spend less time worrying about work and more time discovering all the magic waiting around every corner of this incredible ship.

Sea ya real soon as the days grow longer and the countdowns grow shorter,
