runDisney has already waved the green flag on a lot of exciting events for 2026-2027. You can check
the Event Calendar on the runDisney website for the most up-to-date list. But for now, let's rev up those engines and see what's on the starting line:
- The 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend from October 22-25, 2026
- The 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend from January 6-10, 2027
- The 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend from February 25-March 1, 2027
- The 2027 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend from April 8-11, 2027
But that's not all! Even if you can't make it to the
Walt Disney World Resort, you can still start your engines with runDisney's
virtual events. The 2026 runDisney Virtual Series runs from June 1-August 31, 2026. Then, there's the 2026 runDisney Virtual Spooktacular from October 1-31, 2026. And finally, we've got the 2026 runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas from December 1-31, 2026. These are such a fun way to channel your inner
Lightning McQueen and keep racing from wherever you might be.
Now, those are just the events that have been announced through April 2027. So keep your eyes on the road ahead and check that events page for future announcements, details, and maybe most importantly, registration dates. These events can reach capacity quickly, so you'll want to be ready when that checkered flag comes into view.
