Hei Hei, Michael! As a member of the planDisney 'Ohana, I welcome you and your 'Ohana to The Most Magical Place on Earth.....tomorrow! How exciting! Michael, while I will not ask you to "board my boat, sail across the sea, and restore the heart of Te Fiti," I will act as your "wayfinder" and guide you to an answer!
I'm SO happy to hear that you will be staying in the new
Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Resort! It's absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure what type of room you have, so I double-checked the details for each. It appears that all room types come with a coffee maker and an iron, along with an ironing board, as amenities. YAY! If you'd like to find out what items are included in your specific room type, I can help you find this. Just go to
"Room Rates," select your particular room type, and then click on "View Amenities" in blue. This will show you a complete list of all the items included in your specific room.
I'm also happy to let you know that, whether you plan to swim in the new
Cove Pool or one of the other pools, pool towels will be provided. I haven't had the chance to enjoy this new pool yet or the new
Moana splash area with my girls, so I'm happy you'll get to check it out!
Michael, I know you're getting your last-minute packing done, but I wanted to point out one other thing: on the website, the Polynesian has its
"Activities Schedule" posted. I love it when I can check this out before I arrive. You'll find information about a Tai Chi class, making your own Kukui Nut Lei, how to watch a movie under the stars, and even how to participate in glow-in-the-dark games and dancing! There really is nothing like Disney's Polynesian.
Whether you dine at
Kona Cafe, Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace, or stop by my favorite spot,
Pineapple Lanai, for a DOLE Whip, I'm wishing you the best vacation! As Maui might say, "THANK YOU for stopping by planDisney and "YOU'RE WELCOME" here anytime!
A Hui Hou,
Shonette
