Hey Howdy Hey, Jessie!
Welcome to planDisney. With just a few weeks until your visit, I'm sure that you are up to your (mouse) ears in final details, so I'm delighted to lend a hand!
It sounds like you are attempting to wrangle all of your park-day essentials and are wondering what kind of bag you can carry with you into the magic. Happily, Walt Disney World Resort provides
Property Rules so that Guests such as you and I can know exactly what is and is not permitted during our vacations. I did a bit of research, and the current guidelines state that 'backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any theme park or water park'. This is great news, Jessie! As long as your bag falls within the sizing requirement, you're free to roll your way down Main Street, U.S.A. to a
wheel-ly magical day!
Of course, even though you are allowed to bring a bag up to the maximum dimensions doesn't mean that you have to, Jessie. I know that each person's magical necessities differ, but personally, I prefer to simply carry a belt bag filled with my must-haves (phone, medicine, identification, sunnies, a portable charger, reusable straw, and disposable poncho). A less cumbersome bag is much cooler during the summer months and makes it super convenient to hop on and off attractions. If my husband and I are concerned about needing larger or additional items later in the day, we will simply store them in one of the
rental lockers at the front of the theme park. This might not work for your preferred type of park day, Jessie, but I wanted to share just in case it does.
I hope this was helpful, Jessie, and that your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is filled with your favorite things. If you're in need of any other advice, please feel free to stop back by.
I'm always happy to help!Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
