Welcome to planDisney. I’m so excited to hear that you will soon be crossing the pond to stay at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge while visiting
Walt Disney World. My family and I have stayed at both Jambo House and Kidani Village several times, and it is absolutely amazing. There is nothing like waking up in the morning, stepping out onto the balcony, and seeing all of the animals roaming the Savannah while drinking your morning coffee. My kids especially enjoy watching the animals chase and play in their natural habitat. Luckily, we won’t have to go on a safari to get your answer.
So, in my experience, staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, I have always seen a couple of robes available for guests in the closet. A friend of mine was just visiting and said that he had robes in his room as well. If, for some reason, you do not have them when you arrive, you can call housekeeping to request them. There is also a really cool new device in your room called Hey Disney. I haven’t tried it for this specific request, but you can use it to request lots of things for your room, as well as get information about the parks and a ton of other things. A couple of quick last things, be sure to check the daily activities schedule at the front desk for the most up-to-date offerings. There are so many things available, such as crafts, games, movies, and more. I highly recommend the campfire activity where you can roast marshmallows. It’s so much fun!
