Hiya, Tara! Are you racing to the Start Line or hoping to dash through some traffic on your way to the
Most Magical Place on Earth? I am missing out on
Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, and the FOMO is catching up with me.
The 10K starts at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, beginning and ending at
EPCOT. The course goes through the theme park and
Disney's BoardWalk. There are a few road closures planned for the morning:
- Backstage Lane at Red Lot Entrance from 3:00 - 8:00 a.m.
- EPCOT Center Drive West to EPCOT Auto Plaza from 4:15 - 7:00 a.m.
- EPCOT Parking Exit Loops to EPCOT Center Drive East from 3:00 - 6:30 a.m.
- Overpass Road West at Bonnet Creek from 3:00 - 9:00 a.m.
- Woodpecker Lane from 3:00 - 9:00 a.m.
- World Drive South to EPCOT Center Drive East from 3:45 - 7:30 a.m.
There are also two road pattern modifications:
- Crush (Discover) Lot Exit Bridge to EPCOT Center Drive from 3:30 - 7:30 a.m.
- World Drive North Ramp to EPCOT Auto Plaza from 4:30 - 7:00 a.m.
Due to the closures, detours and traffic, you can expect some delays in getting to your destination. Security and Cast Members will also be on-site, helping direct traffic and ensuring travelers can navigate their routes.
