    Can we ride the Skyliner and/or resort boats if we’re staying at an official Disney hotel offsite? Can we visit the other resorts? We’d love to see Wilderness Lodge, especially.

    Adventure is out there! I love traveling around Walt Disney World using the complimentary transportation that Disney provides. My family gets very excited about soaring through the air on Disney Skyliner, taking the monorail around the loop, and hopping on a boat to get from A to B. 

    You'll be pleased to know, Amy, that you can absolutely use the complimentary Disney transportation to get around Walt Disney World Resort. You don't need to be staying on property to take advantage of the monorail, boats, buses, or Disney Skyliner. You're also more than welcome to visit the various Disney Resorts Collection hotels.

    The lobby area at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is spectacular! You should definitely stop by and check it out. I really enjoy visiting the hotels and eating at the restaurants or grabbing a drink at one of the lounges. My absolute favorite place to do that is Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. There's nothing quite like sitting outside at the sun sets, listening to live music, eating delicious appetizers, and drinking themed cocktails.
