Hello Bobby!
It's great to have you back at planDisney, and I'm happy to help with your upcoming vacation. My family enjoys our stays in the
Disney Resorts Collection just as much as our time in the theme parks, so you've come to the right place!
To have a king-size bed and a queen-size bed in the same room, you'll need to consider a one-bedroom villa at a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort. One-bedroom villa accommodations at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa,
Disney's Riviera Resort,
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and
Disney's Beach Club Villas feature a king-size bed in the main bedroom and a queen-size pull-down bed in the living area.
In addition to the sleeping configuration you're looking for, one-bedroom villas offer wonderful amenities and conveniences to enhance your stay. Although we don't usually do any heavy cooking on vacation, my family utilizes the full-size kitchen and dining area to prepare breakfast, store leftovers, and gather to play games and debrief after a busy day. My family also relies on the in-room washer and dryer in these villas; knowing we can bring less clothing and still have plenty to wear gives me peace of mind when packing. We love the villa-style lodgings' spacious "home away from home" feel!
I hope this is helpful, Bobby. While most hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection offer rooms with one king-size bed, the only accommodations with a king-size bed plus a queen-size bed are the one-bedroom villas in the Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts. These are some of my favorite places to stay in
Walt Disney World, and once you experience a one-bedroom villa, it's hard to resist booking them again...and again!
Thanks for sending your question our way, Bobby, and we can't wait to welcome you "home" soon.
Have a magical day,
Betsy
