Hello John!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney. It's great to see a fellow Marylander here, and I'd be happy to help with your spring vacation. I love visiting Walt Disney World in April since the weather is usually a little chilly back home but practically perfect in Florida.
John, the information you quoted is about redeeming theme park admission, and it sounds like you received the message after finalizing a ticket purchase. If you don't have a
MagicBand and don't intend to use
My MagicMobile to enter the theme parks, you will need to stop by one of the following locations to receive a plastic ticket card:
If you arrive at Walt Disney World a day before visiting the theme parks, I recommend heading to the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Not only will taking care of your tickets in advance save you time on your first morning entering a theme park, but you can also spend an afternoon or evening enjoying the unique shopping and dining in
Disney Springs.
Does anyone in your party have a sweet tooth? If so, make
Gideon's Bakehouse your first stop in Disney Springs to grab a spot in the virtual queue. Then, shop, stop by the Disney Ticket Center, and return for tasty treats after dinner. And speaking of dinner, for table service dining, I recommend
Raglan Road™ Irish Pub & Restaurant or
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' for delicious food in a unique setting. If you prefer more time to shop or the above options aren't available, I like
D-Luxe Burger and
The Polite Pig for quick service.
I hope this has been helpful, John. Best wishes for a magical vacation, and if there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make it even more special, don't hesitate to come back again. We're all ears!
Betsy
