I am a FL resident with Sorcerer’s AP. My kids are both in college in other states and only live with me during the summer. Are there any options to get them an AP that makes sense for < 10 visits a year? They are both 100 % still my dependent.

    Hiya Danielle,

Welcome to planDisney! I hope that your children are loving college! I’m sure, with them being in different states, their visits home are even more special now, and I’m glad you like spending them at the Most Magical Place on Earth. My Mouseketeers are under four years old, but we have already established Walt Disney World Resort as our family vacation destination, so I hope that when they are in college one day, they still want to come home to visit me.

Great question, by the way, Danielle. I’m happy to try to find you an answer. Unfortunately, all Guests wanting to purchase and use an Annual Pass (or theme park tickets) at the Florida Resident rate must be Florida residents. Florida Resident Guests over the age of 18 must provide valid proof of residency in the form of a Florida Driver’s License, ID card, or select other forms of residency, even if they are dependents. From your question, it doesn’t sound like your children reside in Florida and thus are likely ineligible for the Pixie Dust, Pirate, and Sorcerer Passes. If you want to purchase an Annual Pass for your children, it must be the Disney Incredi-Pass. If you don’t want to purchase the Incredi-Pass, then I highly recommend checking out the Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts page. There are always theme park ticket offers that you can use for your children that do not require Florida residency. For example, this summer, there are specially priced theme park tickets for visits after 2 PM, as well as the 4-day, 4-Park Magic Ticket. New deals are added all the time, so if you only have a few visits planned throughout the year, this could be potentially more cost-effective than purchasing an Incredi-Pass.

I wish I had better news, Danielle, but I hope this was helpful. Before I let you go, since you mentioned you are already an Annual Passholder, I wanted to remind you to check the My Disney Experience app for all of the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days offerings. There is a limited-time dining discount increase for select locations, new merchandise, character greetings, and so much more. Cool KID’S SUMMER was already reason enough for me to plan my visit, but the passholder perks are such a great cherry on top! If there is anything else you need, Danielle, please come back and see us.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
