Hey there, Holly!
From one Floridian to another, welcome to planDisney. It’s great that you’ve decided to look into what’s happened to your old premium annual passes. I’d love to dive into your question so that you can get your vacation planning party started.
You have exactly one year to activate your
Disney World annual pass. You activate them by tapping into the magic of the theme parks. However, if you don’t activate them in-person by that deadline (even if they said that they expire in 2099), they can’t be used as purchased. If you want to keep some of their value, you can simply apply the annual pass purchase toward a newer annual pass.
For example, as of 2026, there are
new levels of annual passes: Pixie Dust, Pirate, Sorcerer, and Incredi-Pass. You’ll need to pay the difference between your “premium” annual passes’ cost and the cost of your newly selected annual pass if you want to use your tickets at last. Hakuna Matata! In a way, as long as you don’t partially or fully use the passes, they will never truly expire.
But where are your passes? In order to solve that mystery, you’ll want to contact/visit Guest Relations or call the
V.I.PASSHOLDER hotline. With your purchase receipt or
My Disney Experience account information, a friendly Cast Member should be able to locate the passes.
Holly, I hope that I’ve pointed you in the right direction! I’m giddy just thinking about the fun that’s in store for you at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
