Hi Jenine!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney! As a fellow Annual Passholder from Ohio, I’m happy to help you out. But I won’t lie…I’m slightly jealous that you’ll be getting away from this cold weather! I’ll just have to live vicariously through you as we chat about your upcoming trip.
Periodically,
“good-to-go days” will be added to the theme park reservation calendar for Annual Passholders…and that means you don’t need a park reservation for any theme park that day. How great is that?! Just show up to the park you want to visit (pending park capacity limitations have not been met), and you’ll be able to scan right in.
This Annual Passholder perk is subject to blockout dates. But I just peeked at the
theme park reservation calendar, and it looks like January 15, 2025, isn’t a blockout date for any of the Annual Passes.
If you’ll be visiting the parks later next week, you will need park reservations for those days according to the current availability calendar. So, don’t forget to make those if you haven’t already.
Remember, though, when using an Annual Pass, you can always
visit any park without a park reservation after 2 PM except Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays. So, if you want to spend time at the resort in the morning, and then spontaneously choose a park to visit after 2 PM…go for it!
One last thing before I send you on to warmer weather, if you’re still in Disney World on January 17, 2025, that’s the start of the
Festival of the Arts at Epcot. It’s one of my favorites! They just
posted the menus, and let me tell you…the Enchanted Rose from Opening Bites at CommuniCore Plaza looks too gorgeous to eat, but also too delicious to pass up!
I hope you enjoy every second of your Disney vacation! Let us know if you ever have any other questions.
Jenn J.
