Hi Lonnie, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! Being
Disney Vacation Club Members means having the ultimate flexibility of how and when you can travel. So long as there’s availability at the DVC Resorts we wish to visit and have enough Vacation Points to book a villa, we can book DVC villas as we please! Now, let’s dive into your questions about a potential upcoming stay!
Being so close to your requested check-in date, it may be difficult to book any villas at
Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. I also just checked the DVC website myself and did not see any availability at that Resort for July 7. I would suggest contacting Member Services to find out about any last minute availability at the Resort.
In the future, I would suggest checking for availability as soon as your booking window opens in order to maximize your chances of successfully booking a DVC villa. As a reminder, the
booking window opens 11 months from your anticipated check-in date for your Home Resort and 7 months from your anticipated check-in date for all other DVC Resorts. In addition, you can also create up to
two waitlists per membership and Use Year for any date range, DVC Resort, room type, and room view. Should other Members cancel an existing reservation that matches your waitlist request, DVC will fulfill your waitlist request and book the DVC villa on your behalf!
Lonnie, I’m sorry that this may not have been the answer you’re looking for. If you have any further questions on getting the most out of your DVC membership or Disney vacation planning, feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
