You know,
Walt Disney World Resort was such a wholesome place until the villains set up shop high above
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Be prepared, Melonie, because visits to
Top of the World Lounge – A Villains Lair, are reserved for
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Members with access to Membership Extras. If you are a poor unfortunate soul like me who is not a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can visit if you are traveling with DVC Member family and friends on the other side and are on their reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel booked using their Membership. At least one Member in your fiendish party must accompany the group and present their current MagicBand, digital Membership card and government-issued photo ID in order to enter the evil world lurking behind the doors.
Now, if you have conspired with Disney Vacation Club and are a Member or you are traveling on the same reservation with a Member, well you are wickedly in luck! Reservations are not required, simply check in at the Top of the World Lounge – A Villains Lair desk on the ground floor lobby of
Bay Lake Tower in order to gain access to the lounge and observation deck. Access is on a first-come basis and capacity is limited, so you may be added to a waitlist until other ghoulish Guests depart. To guarantee a spot, Members may book Enchantment at the Top Dessert Party on select Friday nights by calling
DVC Member Services. I’ve got to hand it to those villains. They know everybody has a weakness and mine is enjoying dessert and cocktails while watching fireworks.
