Hi, we have a reservation for sweets & seats at MK at 8 PM on 4/27/25 - it looks like the fireworks start at 8 PM that day, if we arrive at 6:30 will they seat us so we can enjoy the desserts before the show?

Hello Lydia, and welcome to planDisney!

"And they all lived happily ever after. Each of us has a dream, a heart's desire. It calls to us. And when we're brave enough to listen and bold enough to pursue, that dream will lead us on a journey to discover who we're meant to be. All we have to do is look inside our hearts and unlock the magic within." The moment I hear these words, I know my favorite nighttime spectacular is about to begin!

I am not exaggerating when I say I'm happier than Olaf in summer that you have a reservation for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Seats & Sweets. This is my favorite reservation in all of Walt Disney World. There is nothing like experiencing "Happy Ever After" in your own personal seat. The music, the projections, and the way the fireworks seem to tell the stories of Disney—this show truly feels like the heart and soul of Walt Disney World.

I checked the schedule for April 27th, and "Happily Ever After" is set to start at 9 pm. Your reservation at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant will open at 8 pm, allowing you to enjoy food and drinks from your seats before the show begins. Based on my experience, I recommend arriving at the restaurant about 20 minutes early, as people start lining up ahead of time. Additionally, there are three different dessert parties happening that evening, so make sure to join the line marked "Seats & Sweets."

Lydia, when you arrive, be ready to indulge in some magical sweets. The menu is always subject to change, but you can generally expect to find an assortment of fruits, cheeses, and delicious desserts. My personal favorites are the Tres Leches cupcakes and fresh crepes. My husband would tell you that the unlimited chocolate-covered strawberries make it special!

One of my favorite moments during "Happily Ever After" is when Tinker Bell takes flight from Cinderella Castle and flies over your seats in a magical, pixie-dusted moment. To celebrate the grand finale, be sure to pick up a nice glass of sparkling cider to have at your table and make a wish at the end of the show. That's my favorite tradition!

I'm so happy you stopped by planDisney with your question. We are Guests just like you, and we love helping you experience the magic! Stop by anytime.

Enjoy and reach out and find your happily ever after!
