i have a reservation for the starlight safari at 10pm, what kind of transportation is there from art of animation resort to get to starlight safari

Jambo, Lori! Welcome to planDisney! I'm excited to see that you're participating in one of my wish list Disney extras - the Starlight Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! Having stayed at this deluxe resort for the first time this year, I loved seeing the animals roaming freely on the savanna, and I'm sure seeing them through night vision is even more exciting!

Lori, at this time, there is no direct transportation option for guests traveling from one Disney Resort Collections hotel to another. But as they say in the wilderness, hakuna matata - no worries - I've got a few options that might work to get you to your safari!

One option is to take a complimentary Disney resort bus from your home base at Disney's Art of Animation Resort over to Disney Springs. From here, you can hop on board another bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This will take a little bit of time, so I'd recommend allowing yourself at least 60-90 minutes to allow for your transportation time. You might even consider rustling up some grub at Disney Springs to make your voyage a little more streamlined!

Another option is to utilize a rideshare service; my family loves the Minnie Van rideshares powered by the Lyft app. These vans are the most efficient method of transportation within the Disney resort area as they are driven by Cast Members and can usually pick up and drop off at the most convenient locations for guests!

A final option to consider would be hopping on board the Disney Skyliner over to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then catching a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge. It looks like this week the park closes at 10 PM, so you should be ahead of the crowds leaving the park if you use this option, and it is probably a little faster than taking two separate buses!

Lori, I hope this helps! Once your safari is over for the night, you can reverse the steps of any of these suggestions to get back to your home resort, or you can utilize a rideshare service again! I hope your safari is full of animal sightings, lots of knowledge, and great memories on the savanna! If you have any other questions before your visit, come back and see us again at planDisney!
